What is a Sun Outage?

Sun outages take place twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall when the sun passes behind the satellites providing network signals to the distributors. Viewers may experience anything from slight signal degradation to a complete signal loss, but any interruption should be limited to only a few minutes in duration.
