ROOT SPORTS WINS FOUR EMMY® AWARDS

Seattle, WA – ROOT SPORTS was awarded four Emmys at the 51st Annual Awards Ceremony for the Northwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) on Saturday evening, June 7.

The awards span a variety categories, showcasing the breadth of ROOT SPORTS’ broadcast capabilities. These categories and corresponding awards are as follows:

This marks the second year in a row that ROOT SPORTS has been honored with an Emmy for the “BE HERE” campaign and the second time in three years Patrick Brown has been honored for the “Director- Live or Recorded Live” category. It is also the fourth consecutive year ROOT SPORTS has taken home an Emmy in the “Live Sporting Events” category. This year, the winning program was Big Sky Football. The previous winners in this category for ROOT SPORTS include Seattle Mariners, Portland Timbers, and College Football on FSN.
