ROOT SPORTS WINS TWO EMMY® AWARDS

Seattle, WA – ROOT SPORTS  was awarded two Emmys at the 52nd Annual Awards Ceremony for the Northwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) on Saturday evening, June 6.

The awards and nominations span a variety of categories, showcasing the extensiveness of ROOT SPORTS’ broadcast capabilities. The awards earned this year are as follows:

This marks the fifth consecutive year ROOT SPORTS has taken home an Emmy in the “Live Sporting Events” category. This year, the winning program was the Seattle Mariners broadcast. The previous winners in this category for ROOT SPORTS include Big Sky Football, Portland Timbers, and College Football on FSN. This is also the second consecutive year ROOT SPORTS has been nominated in the “Graphic Arts” category, but the first year ROOT SPORTS has won the Emmy.
