Where will Trail Blazers games be shown in the Pacific Northwest?
Portland Trail Blazers games will be available throughout the states of Washington, Oregon and Alaska.
Will I be able to watch the Portland Trail Blazers? (i.e.: is my provider carrying them)?
Portland Trail Blazers games are available on ROOT SPORTS through almost all TV providers in the team’s authorized broadcast territory.

How do I watch the Portland Trail Blazers?
Your only option to see all the Portland Trail Blazers games is to subscribe to a provider who carries ROOT SPORTS and has agreed to carry the Portland Trail Blazers. There is no other option for those residents in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska to receive the Portland Trail Blazers season in its entirety.
If my video provider already carries ROOT SPORTS and I am located in the Portland Trail Blazers territory, will I get Portland Trail Blazers games?
If you are in the Portland Trail Blazers territory and already receive ROOT SPORTS as part of your package your video provider will be offered the opportunity to deliver Portland Trail Blazers games to their customers. We hope the tv providers elect to make that product available to their customers.
Can I stream Trail Blazers games?
ROOT SPORTS offers a TV everywhere stream of our channel on both an app and web platform. Games will be available to those viewers who subscribe to a television provider or vMVPD which carries ROOT SPORTS, who has agreed to allow their customers access to the TV everywhere streaming service, are in the team territory and who have elected to make the product available.
Is there an additional cost to receive the TV Everywhere stream via ROOT SPORTS app or website?
There is no additional cost as long as you are a valid paid telco, cable, satellite or vMVPD customer who subscribes to a video package that includes ROOT SPORTS. Data charges may apply for mobile app viewing. Please check with your mobile provider.
Can I stream Trail Blazers games without being a paid telco, cable, satellite or vMVPD customer?
No, the only way to access digital streaming of ROOT SPORTS is to have a valid pay television subscription that contains ROOT SPORTS, whose provider has agreed to allow their customers access to the TV everywhere streaming service, and who has agreed to carry the Portland Trail Blazers.
Why won’t you allow streaming subscription providers to carry ROOT SPORTS?
ROOT SPORTS is available on DIRECTV STREAM and fubo. We would love to have our network carried by these providers and be able to offer it to you as we do with all other providers. We continually try to engage these providers in conversations with the goal of having our network carried on them. So far, they have chosen not to carry us, or in most cases, a majority of other RSNs, but we will keep trying.
ROOT SPORTS is not unique in the lack of OTT options. While several streaming platforms claim to carry live sports, the reality is that they do not carry the local sports networks that you care about most, including ROOT SPORTS.
Why are you the only regional sports network that won’t let fans stream?
ROOT SPORTS is available on DIRECTV STREAM and fubo. ROOT SPORTS is not unique in the lack of OTT options. At this time most OTT platforms don’t carry the vast majority of the regional sports networks across the country. DIRECTV STREAM and fubo are the only ones that carry RSNs broadly and nationally, and they carry almost all of them.
While several streaming platforms claim to carry live sports, the reality is that they do not carry the local sports networks that you care about most, including ROOT SPORTS.
I have access to ROOT SPORTS through my provider, but I do not see them on the TV Everywhere streaming provider list, what can I do?
Some TV providers have not yet accepted our offer allowing their customers access to our TV Everywhere stream via the ROOT SPORTS app or website. You may want to contact your provider and request that they allow you access to stream ROOT SPORTS.
Why can’t I stream Trail Blazers games when I’m traveling?
To access ROOT SPORTS via our TV Everywhere app/website you must be physically located within the Trail Blazers’ league-designated viewing territory (WA, OR, and AK).
I hear that fans of other teams in other parts of the country have streaming options that I don’t. Why is that?

Am I able to watch the Trail Blazers on NBA League Pass or NBA.TV?
If you live within the team’s league-designated home television territory (WA, OR, and AK), then you will not be able to watch them via NBA League Pass or NBA.TV.
